Libbie Garbow, 88, a former teacher of Hebrew and Jewish studies and a former resident of Skokie, died Saturday at the Lieberman Geriatric Center in Skokie. Mrs. Garbow was a 1928 graduate of the University of Chicago before receiving a graduate degree from the Chicago Board of Jewish Education. Survivors include two sons, Burton and Melvin; a sister; a brother; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago.
