On a recent Saturday my wife and I returned to our native Chicago to see the Monet exhibit at the Art Institute. As expected, the lines were long and slow and the halls extremely crowded. It was like tasting fine wines at a fraternity party. Observing Impressionism from 18 inches was also something I was not ready for. The Art Institute should have found some way to either limit the number of viewers or move them along a little quicker.
