Lovina C. Schaefer, 77, of McHenry, died Sunday in Crystal Pines Health Care Center in Crystal Lake. She was born in Volo. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Aeverman; a son, Robert; two brothers; a sister; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1403 N. Richmond Rd., McHenry.
