– Justin Arabadjief, Plainfield–Scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Sycamore.
– Nino DaSilva, St. Viator–Scored four goals in two victories to run his season totals to 13 in six games.

– Pam Buff, Barrington–The junior won the 18th Waukegan Invitational by shooting a 36 on the back nine for a 4-over-par 77.
FOOTBALL
– Joe Benka, Montini–The senior caught two touchdown passes, blocked a punt and made six tackles, including one for a safety, in a 22-14 triumph over Marian Central.
– John Buckley, Brother Rice–The defensive back returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the Crusaders’ 22-7 victory over St. Laurence.
– Tim Lavery, Naperville Central–The lefty quarterback threw for four touchdowns and scored a fifth in a 47-14 trouncing of Naperville North.
– Mark Peterson, Buffalo Grove–The latest in a long line of this school’s standout QBs, he fired TD passes of 21, 26, 33, 65 and 45 yards in a 35-0 cruise past Rolling Meadows.
– Antonio Watkins, Julian–Rushed for 248 yards, his third straight week over 100, in a 24-14 victory over Hubbard.
– Tony White, Proviso West–He rushed for 145 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns and also ran in the winning two-point conversion in a 14-13 victory over Glenbard West.
