Remember how everybody scoffed when you got good grades in school and suggested that you must have been taking easy courses like basket weaving? Well, now you can take that course, and you can assure your doubters that basket weaving is quite a skill. “Beginning Basket Weaving” will be offered at the Naper Settlement starting Wednesday. During the three-session workshop, participants will make an oblong bread basket, a round cracker basket and a heart basket. There is a $50 fee, but those baskets could make delightful holiday gifts.
