Charles E. Bartz, 68, of Cary, a retired environmental engineer, died Monday in Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. He was born in Chicago, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked as an engineer for Cotter and Co. in Cary. He is survived by his wife, Louise; two daughters, Janice Widitz and Sandra; a sister; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
