Several Indiana county prosecutors joined Gov. Evan Bayh on Tuesday in warning “deadbeat” parents who refuse to pay court-ordered child support about a new law that will take effect Sunday.

“If you’ve got a driver’s license or you’ve got a professional license, we’re going to pull that license unless you agree to support your children,” Bayh said at a news conference. “Enough is enough.”

The law targets non-custodial parents who owe $2,000 or more in child support or are three months behind in payments.
