David Blumenfeld, 86, a retired horseman and horse show judge, died Saturday at the Glen Oaks Nursing Home in Northbrook. A longtime Chicago resident, Mr. Blumenfeld worked as a men’s fashion artist for Marshall Field & Co. for more than 20 years. In his spare time, he won many ribbons with horse Pecos in western-style livestock-handling competitions and also judged such contests. Survivors include two brothers, Robert and Harry. Services for Mr. Blumenfeld were held Tuesday.
