Pullman Co. hired Merrill Lynch & Co. to help it explore the possibility of selling all or a portion of the firm. The closely held Lebanon, N.J.-based automotive-components maker has been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since December. Pullman is best known for the railroad coaches it once made in Chicago.
