Levitz taps a former Sears CEO: Levitz Furniture Inc. said it has named Michael Bozic chairman and chief executive, effective immediately. Bozic replaces George Bradley, who had been acting chief executive of Boca Raton, Fla.-based Levitz since July following the retirement of Robert M. Elliott. Until July, Bozic was president and chief executive of discount retailer Hills Stores Co. He also is a former president and chief executive of Sears, Roebuck & Co. The appointment comes only weeks after Montgomery Ward & Co. pulled out of a deal to buy a stake of the retailer.
