The article on the Nov. 6 front page regarding the “myth” of Israeli solidarity gave a false and unfair representation of the Israeli people.
In the wake of the tragic assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the world has seen the whole of Israel come together as one, regardless of political and religious orientation. Israel has survived thus far only because of Israeli unity and the common goal to keep Israel a safe haven for all Jews. The act of one madman, regardless of nationality, cannot and will not change this.
If any good can be seen from this horrendous act, it is that Israel and the rest of its Arab neighbors will work even harder and faster to make peace in the Middle East a reality.
