Not for the first time since their marriage breakup, Britain’s Princess Diana stole the show from Prince Charles Tuesday — even though it was his birthday.
Prince Charles turned 47 birthday in Germany, discussing democratic reform in central and eastern Europe at a seminar of his beloved Business Leaders’ Forum.
But Diana delivered a shock announcement. She said she would reveal her version of their marriage’s collapse in a British television interview.
Charles was at Sans Souci, the summer palace of Prussian royalty when he got the news.
The name means “free of cares” in French.
