For the second straight game, the Wolves were utterly defenseless against the Utah Grizzlies.

Propelled by a five-goal first period and their slick European players, the defending International Hockey League Turner Cup Champion Grizzlies danced around the Wolves dazed coverage and trotted away with a 10-3 win Wednesday night at the Delta Center.

Grigori Panteleev and Andrei Valsiljev each had a goal and and two assists in the first period to get the Grizzlies rolling early.

Center Lee Davidson finally got the Wolves (10-9-0) on the board at 3:31 of the second period.
