An art auction will be held in conjunction with World AIDS Day by Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital’s Associate Board. Proceeds from the auction of oil paintings, sculpture, acrylics, ceramics, glass, designer clothing and custom jewelry will go toward supporting the hospital’s HIV/AIDS programs, which have provided care and medicine to more than 1,400 men and women since 1991. Last year’s Art Against AIDS auction raised $60,000 for the hospital’s programs. Tickets to the event are $50 in advance, $60 at the door. For more information, call 878-8700, Ext. 1024.
