At City Hall, the Committee on Economic and Capital Development and the Committee on Energy and Environmental Protection will hold their fourth joint meeting on how to create more recycling jobs in the city by attracting recycling companies to the area.
In addition, the city this week will begin enforcing a new ordinance that allows the immediate closing of taverns and liquor stores whose licenses have been revoked for serious violations.
The joint council committees’ meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on the second floor of City Hall.
