The Chicago Public Library is giving new meaning to the term “library card” with the “Check Us Out Card,” which can be used for free family admission to nine of Chicago’s cultural institutions known as the Museums in the Park. Each museum, from the Adler Planetarium to the Museum of Science and Industry, has its own card, which can be checked out for two weeks by adult Chicago Public Library cardholders.
