The Chicago Public Schools’ Practical Nursing Program is offering practice tests Wednesday and Thursday for high school students interested in preparing for the program’s entrance examination later in the week and in January.

The program, accredited by the National League of Nursing, offers training during three-hour sessions over a two-year period to become practical nurses. To get into the program students must post high scores on the exam.

At the exam preparation sessions, students will get sample questions and learn about the test format from instructors in the program. The actual entrance examination will be conducted Friday and Jan. 26.
