Walter E. Goff Jr., 77, of Crystal Lake, died Friday in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. He was born in Crystal Lake and lived most of his life in Hoffman Estates. He was in the Army in World War II. He is survived by two sons, Thomas and James; a daughter, Susan Skott; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday in Crystal Lake.
