Probably the worst thing that could have happened to the Bears was to start 6-2. The quick start gave many fans a false sense of the quality of this team.
This is a team that’s not mentally tough–from a quarterback who makes crucial mistakes, to a defense that hasn’t made a big play all year, including a kicking game that’s just plain unreliable.
Bear football brings to mind a tradition of hard-hitting defense, a solid rushing game and an aggressive attitude that matches the personality of the city. This Bear team possesses none of these qualities and it doesn’t look encouraging for the future.
