Let’s finally get real about Michael McCaskey and his “Monsters of the Midway.” If the Bears’ 1995 schedule had included teams like the 49ers, Cowboys, Chiefs, Dolphins, etc., even Michigan City, Ind., wouldn’t want them.
The team’s ’95 schedule was against teams with a combined 94 wins and 98 losses, and still no playoff spot!
Hang in there, Mayor Daley. We don’t have to pay $400 million-plus for what Mr. McCaskey offers.
