Black, the absence of color and imagination, still has a firm hold on women’s fashion. But a quick survey of some recent holiday social gatherings revealed a few cardinals among the penguins. Women were seen wearing color–not just the seasonal red, but also some beautifully subltle shades that would stump the namers of crayons.
Oh, it`s not a revolution. Black is too easy a solution to go away. But hereis a toast to some fashionalble points of light.
