I was disappointed by your Jan. 10 editorial titled “The White House deception” in which you state that “. . . one thing has now become all too clear: Bill and Hillary Clinton and their aides have made a concerted effort to deceive official investigators and the American public with half-truths and outright lies.”
You haven’t proved that. Nobody has, including Sen. Alfonse D’Amato (R-N.Y.), who has used the media to turn Whitewater into what now looks like a witchhunt. It would be refreshing if D’Amato would begin conducting a responsible, non-partisan investigation.
