A new perk: What’s the difference between a cafe latte, a cappuccino and a simple cafe au lait? Discuss amongst yourselves. Or click your way into the Internet, where Iveta’s, a Barrington espresso bar and cafe, soon expects to have a Web site featuring a home page that will detail menu specials and events.
“It’s so that people can just dial into the Internet and see what’s going on,” said Iveta co-owner John Bilanko of Barrington. The site should be in place by early February, Bilanko said.
Meanwhile, customers can exchange information with the cafe’s management via electronic mail at ivetaesp@aol.com. “It’s kind of a way to keep in touch with your customers,” Bilanko said. “We have a relatively young crowd. We have a lot of college students. Everybody at college has e-mail.”
