George Kush, 60, a retired mail carrier out of the Worth post office, died Thursday at home in Oak Forest. He had been a postal employee for more than 30 years. Mr. Kush was active with the Lynwood Roller Skating Club and had received several awards in skating competition. “He always had a smile on his face,” his wife, Susan, said. “He loved life.” Survivors, besides his wife, include four daughters, Cyndy Haehnel, Sandy Kennedy, Shirley Paluch and Heidi Kauss; three stepsons, Thomas Nolan, Jeff Nolan and Mark Nolan; a stepdaughter, Kathleen Nolan; two brothers; three sisters; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Lawn Funeral Home, 7732 W. 159th St., Orland Park. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Julie Catholic Church, 7399 159th St., Tinley Park.
