Your Feb. 14 Almanac stated that St. Valentine was beheaded during the persecutions of Claudius the Goth. The Goth? Claudius Gothicus, Roman Imperator 268-270 A.D., was named Gothicus not because he was a Goth but because of his victories over the Goths.
