IMC Global Inc. extended the contract of Wendell F. Bueche, 65, as chief executive by one year to June 30, 1997, and as chairman until June 30, 1998. Northbrook-based IMC, one of the world’s largest fertilizer producers, completed the $1.3 billion acquisition of Vigoro Corp. Friday.
