Thank you for updating us (Main news, March 6) on the situation of the uninsured Amish people, the Oba Herschberger family of Sullivan, who are offering traditional Amish meals in their home to help pay for their son’s medical bills.
The update touched me in two ways. First, that people, through their $10 and $20 donations, can make a huge difference, if enough people care. And second, that this family would actually be unselfish enough to then notify the news media and the public to say that they had enough to meet their son’s medical needs and did not need more.
If we all pull together, we can move mountains!
