Amerihost Properties Inc. reported fourth-quarter net income rose 329 percent, to $13,536 from $3,154 in the year-earlier period. Earnings per share were nil for both periods.
The Des Plaines-based hotel development and ownership company said revenues in the quarter climbed 3 percent, to $11.9 million from $11.5 million.
For the year, earnings jumped 274 percent, to $2.1 million, or 35 cents per share, from $571,421, or 10 cents per share, in 1994. Revenues climbed nearly 20 percent, to $51.9 million from $43.3 million.
