MCI Communications Corp. chief executive Bert Roberts made $2.42 million in 1995, less than what he made in the previous two years. In 1993 and ’94, the head of the largest long-distance phone company after AT&T Corp. received restricted stock awards, but he was awarded none last year. Roberts’ total compensation was $2.72 million in 1994 and $4.23 million in 1993.
