The Governor’s Commission on Gangs will be in Chicago for a public hearing to “help the commission come up with a more targeted and coordinated response” to gangs, according to Atty. Gen. Jim Ryan. The commission is comprised of law-enforcement officers, prosecutors, educators, legislators, advocates, clergy, business representatives, and health professionals.
