The Governor’s Commission on Gangs will be in Chicago for a public hearing to “help the commission come up with a more targeted and coordinated response” to gangs’ growing menace, said its chairman, Atty. Gen. Jim Ryan. The commission includes law enforcement officers, prosecutors, educators, legislators, advocates, clergy, business representatives and health professionals.
