Study a book, study a bog: You can do both at the Volo Bog’s informal book-discussion group, Of Bog & Books. The group, which began in January 1994, meets the first Thursday of each month to discuss environment literature.
Bog spokeswoman Stacy Miller said that anywhere from 2 to 10 people participate. Discussions, held at the Volo Bog Visitor Center in Ingleside, have ranged from the works of Henry David Thoreau to Al Gore. For information, call 815-344-1294.
