The Tribune Op-Ed Page of March 28 carried a picture of the new, politically correct “Betty Crocker” with the caption labeling the new Betty Crocker “non-offensive.”

Well, it is not non-offensive. I am highly offended that a traditional corporate logo was deliberately changed with the intent of making the picture politically correct. But, of course, it appears that the Tribune, and the Betty Crocker people, don’t recognize that the new picture and the intent behind that new picture are offensive to a great number of people.
