Residents may want to run their tap water a little longer late next week before making that first pot of coffee.
Public Works director Jim Schwartz reported to the Village Board on Thursday that workers will begin flushing the 210 fire hydrants throughout the village next Thursday night. The procedure will be continued once every six weeks through October.
Schwartz said hydrant flushing will take place between 11 p.m. Thursdays and 7 a.m. Fridays.
