Jessie E. Miller, 89, a Gurnee resident since 1954, died Saturday at her home. “She loved to tat, crochet and do hand-quilting,” said a son, Lonie Miller. “She loved teaching others how to do these kinds of things.” Other survivors include another son, William; a stepson, Paul; four daughters, Aline Grange, Pauline Splitgerber, Rona Johnson and Linda Harrah; three sisters; and 16 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday in Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave., Libertyville. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
