Clara Lambert, 92, a former congressional assistant, died Friday in Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Oak Lawn. A Chicago native, Mrs. Lambert worked in Washington, D.C., for three congressmen from Illinois’ 3rd District, James Murray, William T. Murphy and Morgan Murphy, for a total of 18 years. She is survived by two children, Beverly and Kenneth; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will start at 9:15 a.m. Monday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, and continue to St. Germaine Church, 4240 W. 98th St., Oak Lawn.
