Monee resident and developer Coleman McCorkle plans to build 217 single-family homes at Monee’s east end over about six years. Situated north of Crete-Monee Road, McCorkle’s Monee Estates subdivision would cover nearly 100 acres.
The board also approved the Axiom Group’s plans for about 80 houses on land a half-mile east of Interstate Highway 57 and south of Monee-Manhattan Road.
