I second Ronald C. Brown’s request (Voice, April 23) for a series of articles on what the medical and pharmaceutical establishment is doing to curb medical costs. What would be interesting, too, is a price comparison of medicines and treatments in Germany, France and Canada with those of the U.S. It’s a sorry world power that offers its citizens profit-based health care. And why does the press continue to use the public relations-created “managed health care” tag instead of the factual “limited health care” or “profit-based health care?”
