Gladyce Gunderson, 87, former operator of a Marengo hardware store with her late husband, Carl, died Friday in the Church Creek Retirement Community in Arlington Heights. She was born in Brillion, Wis. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Wegelin; a son, Donald; a sister; three brothers; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Services were held Monday in Marengo.
