The county’s Community Development Block Grant Commission heard nine requests Thursday from communities seeking financial help for public infrastructure projects.
The projects included a water main extension in Richmond, road repairs and paving in McHenry Township for the West Shore beach area and conversion of a septic system in Grafton Township.
The 17-member commission will consider 31 requests totaling $2.7 million. Other requests will be heard May 30 and June 13.
