Morrison Knudsen Corp., a marquee name in construction, has been acquired by Washington Construction Group Inc., a much-smaller, California-based construction outfit controlled by Montana business magnate Dennis Washington. Washington Construction is paying $205.3 million in cash and stock and assuming up to $50 million in loans. The merged firm will retain the Morrison Knudsen name.
