Novelist Isabel Allende, the first Latin American recipient of the Harold Washington Literary Award, will take part in a free library program and live radio broadcast on WBEZ-FM 91.5.The event is co-sponsored by the Printers Row Book Fair. Allende will receive the award at a Thursday dinner that will benefit the Chicago Public Library Foundation. Call 312-558-1810 for information.
