A new math program will be introduced to students in 4th through 6th grades during the 1996-97 school year.

– The Board of Education is expected to review the results of a survey of parental attitudes toward the district’s new report card system for students in kindergarten through 6th grades.

McHenry County College

A trip to Fort Atkinson, Wis., will be sponsored Saturday by McHenry County College’s Sensational Excursions program.

The district will conduct a public information session on the planning of new district boundaries at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Husmann Elementary School, 131 W. Paddock St. Call 815-459-6070.

District officials recently announced that the school mascot will be the wolf for Prairie Ridge High School, scheduled to open in fall 1997. The school colors will be maroon and silver. The final selections of the mascot and colors were made by the school’s prospective student body.
