AccuMed International Inc. of Chicago announced a three-year agreement granting Olympus America Inc. exclusive rights to distribute key products in AccuMed’s line of automated cytopathology workstations, which provide support to laboratory professionals in the cervical-cancer screening process. The workstations, teamed with Olympus microscopes, will carry the name and logo of Olympus, based in Melville, N.Y.
