Some day I hope to hear one of the TV weather forecasters look directly into the camera and make this statement:
“Weatherwise, to be honest, folks, we really don’t know exactly what the next 24 hours will bring. Your guess is probably as good as ours.”
There would be at least a 70 percent chance of retaining their credibility with the viewers with this remark.
