Olympic gold-medal swimmer Amy Van Dyken has been quoted as saying, “If I miss (shaving) the hair on my knee, it could cost me a hundredth of a second.”
Coincidentally enough, Miss Van Dyken won the 100-meter race by one one-hundredth of a second. One wonders how many hundredths of a second it will take for the good folks at Gillette or Schick to find out and sign her up for endorsements.
