For the second straight year, the not-for-profit advocate group Tutor/Mentor Connection will recruit volunteers from the city and suburbs for tutor/mentor programs in each Chicago neighborhood, particularly those with high poverty and low school achievement. The campaign will begin Thursday and culminate with volunteer recruitment fairs throughout the city. For more information, call 467-5184.
