Harold and Benna Wilde of Naperville announce the wedding of their daughter, Anna, to Joseph Mathews, son of Jay and Linda Mathews of Scarsdale, N.Y. The couple was married July 6 at Koten Chapel on the campus of North Central College in Naperville. The Rev. Jamison Geiger officiated.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. She is a business reporter for The News and Observer in Raleigh, N.C.
Her father is president of North Central College in Naperville. Her mother is a program officer at the Prince Charitable Trust, a Chicago foundation.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. He is a reporter for The Baltimore Sun.
His father is an author and a correspondent in the New York bureau of The Washington Post. His mother is political editor of ABC News’ “World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.”
