Investigators on Friday began poking through the offices of a north Georgia college, looking for evidence tying a security guard to the bombing of Centennial Olympic Park. Agents of the FBI and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation turned up at the maintenance and security offices of Piedmont College, where hero-turned-suspect Richard Jewell worked until May. Watson Bryant, Jewell’s lawyer, said Thursday that Jewell is growing optimistic that he will be vindicated.
