Frank Thomas Mullaney, 73, a Skokie resident, died Tuesday of a stroke at Rush North Shore Medical Center. Mr. Mullaney, a Chicago native, was president of the Film Editors Local Local 780, which he joined in 1961. For a number of years Mr. Mullaney worked at ABC, where he was a film editor in the news department. He later moved to NBC, where he worked in news editing. He retired from that network more than five years ago. He is survived by a sister, a brother and a niece. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago.
